Student Political Action Club at NYU (S-PAC or Student PAC for short) is a nonpartisan student-run public policy reform group that exists to promote open discussion of public policy issues and encourage active participation in the political process by NYU students. Each week we host a discussion on a current policy debate, ranging from abortion to terrorism to tax reform, and give NYU students the opportunity to express their own views, learn about other viewpoints, and then vote on the issue to form an official S-PAC policy position. Once we create a comprehensive policy agenda, we then endorse candidates running for federal office who share the views of our members and provide opportunities for our members to actively support their own views in the political arena by networking with, working on, and learning from their campaigns.
S-PAC is here to take a stand for student views on the federal level, and to create a community where any NYU student can express their political beliefs in an open environment.
